Supporting Policy, Regulatory and Institutional Reforms for Civil Society Development in Armenia

2011

The project was implemented in 2011 with the support of Counterpart International Armenia. The goal was to develop comprehensive and consensual recommendations for improving policy, regulatory and institutional frameworks that would enable further progressive development of civil society in Armenia. The project team emphasized the necessity of facilitating an inclusive process of generating and analyzing various alternatives of such frameworks by engaging all key stakeholders in government, civil society and development partners. Towards this goal, ICHD carried out needs assessment, organized four OTRs and developed subsequent policy papers.
