To celebrate International Children’s Day and International Environment Day within the scope of the “World Action Days” activities of the Euroforum East-West Network, ICHD cooperating with Orran charitable organization organized a two weeks campaign in June 1-12 (June 12 is celebrated as the World Day against Child Labor). The two major events took place on June 4 and 11. On June 4th the volunteers of ICHD and Euroforum East-West Network’s members organized an environmental information day at Orran Center for 12-14-year-old teens. There were organized games, a cartoon on environmental protection had been shown, and the children got acquainted with the history of International Environment Day. The children also developed their own Environmental rules that they were going to kept them inside and outside the building. During the next week children collected plastic bottles and papers for the second part of the event, which was on June 11. On June 11 they created an environmental symbol from the collected environmental garbage with the volunteers’ help.
On January 30, 2024 ICHD organized the first Town Hall Meeting within ACE in Vayk consolidated community, comprising 17 rural and urban settlements, in close collaboration with the local government, "Solution Hub" NGO and their beneficiaries, active young people from the community.
